What is NER?

Sympto-thermal Method of Dr. Rötzer

Who is behind NER?

Prof. Dr.med. Josef Franz Rötzer

Start

Since 1951, Rötzer had been thinking: How can scientific Findings can be summarized in such clear evaluation rules that the NER can be lived with a high level of reliability for more and more women and married couples?

Science

In 1973, Rötzer received a research assignment from the American "Human Life Foundation" to conduct a study on the reliability of the NER according to Rötzer. This appeared in 1973 in the USA.

Publishing

The first practice book was published in 1965. In 1968 the NER was published in a medical journal: Rötzer, J.: Extended basal body temperature measurement and conception regulation. Arch Gynak 206 (1968) 195-214.

Today

To date, around 400,000 cycles have been observed and evaluated in more than 8,000 women. This essentially confirms the very high reliability of the natural conception regulation - the sympto-thermal method according to Rötzer.

More about NER

Sympto-thermal

The sympto-thermal method according to Dr. Rötzer, first became public in 1951. The reliability of the method of contraception is achieved on the one hand by observing physical signs (sympto) and on the other hand by monitoring the waking temperature (thermal).

Reliability

Based on decades of research, a reliability of almost 100% can be assumed for the NER. The Pearl Index of this method can be equated with that of the pill (PI<0.2). However, if used correctly, this is even 0.

Advantages

In addition to the clear positive aspect of being able to avoid pregnancy completely naturally and still reliably, there are also no side effects with this method, since no preparation or hormonal product affects your body.
